My Project Guideline Tenets

These tenets are collected from a variety of sources and experiences over the years, they serve as the foundation for my design decisions and project goals. They reflect the mindset and values I believe are essential for building innovative, effective, and meaningful solutions.

TECHNICALLY FEARLESS

Strive to challenge the status quo by solving complex problems with unconventional approaches, inspiring others to dream big and achieve greatness.

INVENT AND SIMPLIFY

Successful teams encourage creativity and keep things simple. Seek ideas from many different sources, be open to new ways of doing things, and ensure everything is clear and communicated when making changes.

BALANCED AND PRAGMATIC

Balance competing interests, take a long-term view, and simplify processes and technologies. Always balance the customer’s needs with the company’s needs. Budget and costs are important, but they are not the prime motivators; the customer is.

FRUGALITY

Accomplish more with less. Constraints breed resourcefulness, self-sufficiency, and invention.

FLEXIBLE IN APPROACH

Be adaptable, value diverse perspectives, and acknowledge that there can be multiple solutions.
